Senator Malala, his predecessor Khalwale among parents celebrating

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala celebrated his son for scoring 409 in the 2019 KCPE examination

– His predecessor also took to his Twitter page to celebrate his son for exemplary results of 396 marks

– The KCPE results were released on Monday, November 18 where more than one million candidates received their scores

– The top candidate, Michael Andy Munyiri from Damacrest achieved 440 marks

Hours after the release of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education(KCPE) examination results mixed reactions erupted across the nation with parents taking to social media to celebrate the children who performed well in the exam.

Kakamega Senator Cleopas Malala and his predecessor, Boni Khalwale were also not left behind in congratulating their children for an excellent performance.

In a Facebook post on his page, Malala posted a cute photo of his son and hailed him for his efforts which saw him score 409 marks out of 500.

“Congratulations my son Leon Major Malalah. A proud father I am today,” the elated father said.

His antecedent, Khalawale also took to his Twitter page to celebrate his son for his commendable achievement.

“For these blessings, I thank God, my family & our hardworking teachers. Congratulations my Tubu!” the former Senator wrote.

His son, Gift Atubukha scored 396 marks with an 88 in Kiswahili which was his best performed subject.

The KCPE results were released on the afternoon of Monday, November 18 where more than one million candidates received their scores.

The top candidate, Michael Andy Munyiri, had 440 marks where he was closely followed by three candidates who tied with 439 marks.
