BEVERLY HILLS—United Talent Agency announced Thursday, April 11 that they have decided to sign Cindy McCain in all areas but will be focusing on live speaking engagements. McCain’s daughter Meghan McCain who is a co-host on the television show The View is contracted with the agency as well.
Cindy McCain is an American business woman, philanthropist, and wife of the Senator John McCain who passed away last summer in 2018. She has been an advocate for early childhood education and an activist in the fight against human trafficking. In a statement McCain said that she is, “thrilled to work with UTA to leverage my charitable passions.” Cindy McCain also stated that she would like to carry on her husband’s legacy and is hoping to reach new audiences.
United Talent Agency is one of the biggest talent agencies in the world. UTA represents many of the world’s most renowned figures in media. Cindy McCain will join acclaimed political figures represented by UTA. Australia’s former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, retired politician and physician Ron Paul, presidential candidate John Kasich, retired General of the U.S. Army General Wesley Clark, American business executive Beth Comstock, activist and comedian Terry Crews, American financial journalist Michael Lewis, and girls education activist Malala Yousafzai who was the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize are all represented by UTA.
Cindy McCain now serves as a board chair member of the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University and Arizona State’s Human Trafficking Advisory Council. She also is chair of a family-operated Anheuser-Busch distributor Hensley Beverage Company. The Hensley Beverage Company was founded by Cindy McCain’s father James Hensley which he founded back in 1955.
