Aleem Dar announces Rs 1 million donation for earthquake victims |

LAHORE: Senior umpire of International Cricket Council (ICC) Elite Panel, Aleem Dar announced a donation of Rs one million for earthquake victims on Wednesday.

Aleem Dar expressed grief over the deaths of people in deadly earthquake and announced Rs one million for the victims of Monday’s deadly earthquake which caused serious devastation in Khyber PakhtunKhwa province.

According to a statement the donation will be used in the rehabilitation of earthquake affected people.

Earlier, world famous Pakistani star all rounder Shahid Khan Afridi on Tuesday has visted lady reading hospital in Peshawar, Pakistan.

He was arrived to visit the injured people who are admitted in hospital after the yesterday’s deadly earthquake.

While talking to media he said his foundation, Shahid Afridi Foundation has been working in different affected parts of the country.

Also he announced to donate Rs 50 lac for the victim of the earthquake.

It is to be kept in mind that 8.1 magnitude earthquake hit most parts of Pakistan on Monday and up to the latest updates almost 300 people have lost their lives and more than 2000 are injured in the deadly incident.
